Gareth Bale got to grips with the superstar he calls The Boss when he turned up for his first day in Madrid yesterday.
The world's most expensive player was greeted by Cristiano Ronaldo - whose £80million price tag he eclipsed with his £86m Deadline Day move - at Real's Valdebabas HQ before training.
The embrace came a week after Bale responded to questions over who would take the free kicks at Madrid by insisting: "You'll have to ask Ronaldo. He's the boss."
Bale is set to make his debut from the bench for Madrid on Saturday away to Villareal. The 24-year-old winger played his first half hour of competitive football after foot and groin injuries and the drama surrounding his move.
He could be set to play as an emergency left-back after Brazilian Marcelo injured thigh in his country's 6-0 win over Australia last weekend.
